In addition to the many products that Eveready
manufactures and installs, we also offer a wide variety of
related services. As with all of our work, we will give
you a written estimate and written warranty (when
applicable) of all work performed.
When required and necessary for the work we are
performing, Eveready will file permits with your city or
town and schedule all necessary inspections. Our
workmanship will comply or exceed the required city or
village codes. Prior to an excavation, we will
also contact "Digger" in Chicago proper or "J.U.L.I.E."
(Joint Utility Location Information for Excavation) in the
suburbs to insure the location of all other utilities.
Flood Control Service
One of the most important services that Eveready offers is
the inspection, cleaning , and repair of your existing
flood control. Our fully trained service department is
knowledgeable, not only in the repair of the Eveready Flood
Control Systems, but in the repair of all types of flood
controls.
Ejector and Sump Pump Replacement
Along with the servicing of flood control systems, our
service department has the ability to repair, replace or
upgrade, as needed, most ejector or sump pumps.
Power Rodding of Main Sewer Line and Branch Lines With
Repair and Replacement as Needed
Since the flood control is installed on your existing main
sewer line, proper maintenance of this line is important.
Our service department has equipment to clean out any
obstructions that may occur, (tree roots, grease, etc.)
in your main sewer or branch lines. When an Eveready
service technician rods a sewer line, you can be assured
your flood control unit will never be damaged in the
process. Should you ever need to repair or replace your
sewer lines, we at Eveready can assess the problem and
repair as necessary.
Catch Basin Cleaning
Occasionally, the catch basin, which collects grease
and/or soap from the kitchen sink and laundry washtubs,
can become clogged or filled with debris. This may be
indicated by sluggish draining of the sink or washtub, or
an unpleasant odor. Periodic cleaning should be done as
needed.
Power Jetting of Sewer Lines
When a sewer line is not blocked by solid matter, but by a
semi-solid or liquid, such as grease, sometimes power
rodding can be ineffective for clearing the blockage In
these instances power jetting of the sewer line may be
necessary. When jetting a line, high-pressure water is
used to remove the obstruction from the walls of the pipe.
Not only is this a thorough way of clearing a "slush
block" but is safe for all sewer lines, regardless of the
materials used to construct them.
Locating Water and Sewer Lines
Eveready can, with the use of a transmitter and locator
find and follow the directional flow of the sewer line.
This equipment is important for finding the sewer line for
both a flood control installation or for determining where
repairs on the sewer line may be required. With the use
of this equipment we are able to see if there are any
potential obstacles, such as cement or shrubbery, in the
way of necessary excavations. We are also able to locate
the position and path of the water line, which often runs
near the sewer line.
Televising of Sewer Lines
While a transmitter and locator can tell us exactly where
a sewer runs, the use of a camera can show us the actual
condition of the sewer line. With proper use of this
equipment there are no mistakes in verifying a broken or
shifted sewer line. This can also be recorded for
insurance reimbursement purposes.
